The First Tee of Valparaiso promotes and reinforces the Nine Core Values of The First Tee such as honesty, confidence, and sportsmanship. We provide children with opportunities to learn, understand, and adopt important life values through golf and character education.
Events The First Tee is celebrating its 10th Anniversary. The First Tee of Valparaiso is recognized as one of the first chapters in the network. As a prelude to the celebration, Adam Schupak of Golfweek Magazine visited our chapter to interview some of the first participants in the program. The article that appeared on August 19, 2006 featured two former participants from Valparaiso - Matt Nelson and Maria Danzberger. Yes, The First Tee has positively impacted the lives of many of our participants.
